About me

I am at the present time a self-employed Marketing/Graphic Designer and Marketing Advisor.

My design and business experience has been gathered from my time spent working in all sectors of advertising and marketing environments.

My extensive involvement in these areas, has developed strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. Some of the activities that were part of this development include: establishing working relationships with the Departments of Industry and Education. I work well independently and as part of a team.

I have broad experience in the following areas:

Management:

V Print buying and management, briefing external agency to determine suitable solutions,

V Liaising with printers and mailing houses

V Design and production of marketing and product literature

V Manage/Direct photo shoot and production

V To manage day to day contact with Creative, Promotion and Media agencies.

Skills including:

V Extensive knowledge of the photography - illustration, (Hands on/can do attitude)

V Expert in the use of graphic design packages including Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkExpress and Indesign

V Experience of working with creative design agencies

V Creative thinker and able to work to tight deadlines

V Good database skills.
