About the Client
Grink is a youth-oriented soft drink brand with a bold, edgy style. Weve been working with them for several years, almost annually creating promo projects for new flavors. This time, the task was to present the Green Banana flavor and attract the brands key audience.
Objective
Create a promo landing page that:
Vividly presents the new Green Banana flavor;
Holds attention through interactivity;
Speaks the same language as Gen Z;
Fits seamlessly into the brands digital campaign.
Solution
We proposed 5 creative concepts in the form of moodboards:
Vintage soda machine a mechanic with inserting a coin and spinning bottles inside the machine, from which the new flavor drops out.
Interactive story/comic about Green Banana a drinks origin story in the style of labels and 90s comics, with horizontal scrolling or interactive pop-ups.
Bright retro bold graphics and illustrations in neon colors, anime-inspired style; animated bottle with soda pouring out.
Quest-style site pixel graphics and gamification: object-finding or task completion to discover the flavor.
90s nostalgia collage-style design with elements of old computer interfaces, toys, and gadgets from the 90s.
After discussion, we selected two ideas to prototype as video concepts. The client chose the vintage soda machine concept nostalgia with an ironic twist.
How it Works:
The user drags a coin into the machine.
The machine starts up, revealing a bottle of the new flavor.
Next comes the Green Banana description and a showcase of all Grink drinks.
The mechanic is enhanced with animations and retro graphics, evoking associations with old-school machines while keeping it lighthearted and fun.
Result
The landing page became part of Grinks marketing campaign and was used as a digital teaser for the new flavor. It gave the brand a bold online presence and became a memorable entry point for the audience. The project received positive client feedback and marked another successful step in our ongoing collaboration with Grink.
