Project brief was to produce an invite to an awards ceremony that fitted in with existing promotional literature but also, in some way, could showcase 7 new paint shades that were being introduced by Dulux to their product ranges.

My ides consisted of a folded (finished size 200mm x 200mm) invite with light, sans serif typefaces and the paint shades being displayed as paint splattering and dripping against a white wall.

I also advised on printing methods for this project. As the requirement was under 500 copies, I suggested digital printing via HP Indigo or similar on to GF Smith 400 gsm board, matt laminated and the paint shades accentuated with gloss spot UV coating.

Deluxe were impressed enough with the results to use this job as a benchmark for future projects.
