About me

My name is Dulcie Clare, and I have just graduated from Liverpool John Moores University. I am very interested in the facilities manager position advertised on your website. From my attached CV, you will see that I am a very organised, hard worker who enjoys working in busy, pressurised environments. In October, I was fortunate to work with an events company - Gyro Live - where I helped co-ordinate events, eg a brand launch and the SportsAid sports ball. I was also involved in the marketing side, in attempt to gain new clients which I found very rewarding when I closed a sale. I also shadowed the event managers and gained a grasp of the industry. In the past 4 years I have also gained administrative and project management experience across a variety of organisations, including the Home Office where I was required, for example, to decipher and filter applicants and constantly update their own database system, and EC Harris, an international built asset consultancy, where I worked in teams on projects such as the O2 Arena and Wembley Stadium, Housing and Retail Complex, co-ordinating with all involved, [eg architects, clients and quantity surveyors], where my role included minute taking, progress chasing and keeping my managers fully informed.I was excited by the job description, believing it matches my enthusiasm for being around creative people and my future ambitions to work in the industry. I believe I could perform all the tasks you have outlined in the job specification in a confident and highly effective manner. Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
