​​4.5 million people are trapped in the parole or probation system due to technical violations – things that many of us do every day. An endless loop of rules and regulations keep them behind bars well after they have served time. Give Life Back set out to change the hearts and minds of people by showing how everyday actions can wipe out weeks, months and years of people’s lives due to unjust laws, policies and practices. The campaign was kicked off by the film Technically Illegal.
