These earliest explorations combined the interactions of blown glass with contrasting materials and forms. The felt pieces are sculptural forms built up of concentric layers of different colours. The felt objects were 'sliced' to reveal the interior layers - the blown glass was 'sliced' to provide an opening and 'home' for the felt objects. The project is a series of curiosities of revealing and combining.
