This video was part of a larger package that I assigned and edited about DACA. The project included video interviews with DACA recipients (also transcribed for the web), a legal article featuring a local lawyer (that I reported/wrote/edited), and an essay by a local sociology professor researching the subject. This collection of stories and multimedia content was recognized by the 2018 Great Plains Journalism Awards with multiple awards.
