"Leonard Cheshire was primarily known for their care homes despite working in so many other areas. With an aging supporter base, it was important to increase brand awareness among new (and younger) potential supporters. Statistics and case studies would only go so far to engage people where relatability was lacking.
Our campaign initially focused on acquired disability to highlight ‘it could happen to anyone’, building a sense of familiarity and empathy before asking for ongoing support."
