About me

I would like to apply for the Production Assistant position. I've worked on many shoots as a photographer's assistant for magazines such as Glamour, OK, Heat, Reveal, Grazia etc and have enjoyed every minute. I like being apart of a big production and helping to come up with ideas and problem solving.

Whilst completing my degree in Photography I found I enjoyed the production and planning aspects of the shoots, and found this benefited my organisational and motivational skills to create and aid the creation of ideas and images. During my time working as a photographer's assistant I had to show an ability to use my own initiative, be resourceful in order to solve problems quickly and efficiently to keep up with the high working demand. Being self motivated is a key skill within my current job role and work experiences, as well as showing a flexible attitude and being a team player always works better to get the job done.

I've always loved coming up with my own ideas such as different composites and shoot themes, and being able to be creative on the spot. My strong passion for knowing trends, fashion, photography and celebrity knowledge helps with coming up with the ideas.

I have experience in invoicing and budgeting since working as an assistant and picture assistant, and really enjoy working out the best way to complete something. Keeping the archives, budget spread sheets and credits organised and well managed is all part of my job but I generally enjoy doing this.

I really want to learn so much more, so hope you will consider me to be a part of your team.
