This project I was tasked with designing a key fob for a given car, this was the Ariel Atom. The key fob had to be designed for manufacture and reflect the design and brand language. We had to include a PCB, button, and key which is currently not used in the current key. The button in the design is for an alarm as we found asking an owner club that they install alarms themselves, and the key in the design is to connect the battery which is currently part of the process of starting the car. We also had to design some future concepts of what the key could be like, for this, we did an app and a transferable immobilizer chip which could be used in multiple accessories including a wristband as shown.
