About me

I have managed several different online communities. Working in an estate agency, I dealt with a property-interested community. My passion for social media also led me to create my own social media page, centralised on the theme of fashion and beauty. Additionally, I was requested to create a start-up campaign for a Tango dance society for my family friend. What I learnt from dealing with these different communities is how to communicate with them, what communicative tools should be used, and the type of content to be posted.

During my 3 years as an administrator/ social media marketer in a very professional environment at an estate agency, I have been greatly accustomed to the office environment and had managed to increase exposure of the business via social media and through other means. In more detail, my roles and responsibilities included:

- Monitoring performance

- Reporting on the growth and engagement across these social media channels

- Planning digital marketing strategies to help with traffic and engagement

- Creating and organising content

- Overseeing all the social media accounts

- Proactively engaging with clients on social media and actively working to build new users

- Keeping up to date with the latest global social media, content & analytics developments

Since, I have gained an insight on how to market and promote a business, the experience becoming very useful if applying it to your placement. I can confidently state that I can perform to my best abilities and I can use a number of platforms, as well as a number of applications to create content through.

My IT skills are exceptional, having received an IT Level 2 award from a two year course. I also studied Digital Media in University for a year, learning how to create content, video production, photography, and leaflet designing. I have gained skills with using Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

Because of my helpful nature, I have help organise charity events for The Miriam Hyman Trust, for example, creating leaflets, raising awareness, and managing events. I also volunteered for World Challenge, in which I travelled to Malaysia to care for handicapped children and explore the terrain. These diverse situations have enabled my team-work skills and communication skills to progress.
