About me

My name is Dinos Sassalos, I am 24 years old and I am a graphic designer.

I am seeking an opportunity to apply my skills and to develop on my personal and professional experiences.

I hold a Master of Arts in International Design and Communications Management from in Warwick University. Prior to that, I did a Bachelors degree in Communications, with specialization in Advertising and Public Relations, in the American College of Greece. Also, I attended a course in Graphic Design in Shillington College receiving a diploma in Design in 2009.

My studies have equipped me with a wide range of theoretical knowledge of design, specializing in the principals of print design and the field of communications in general. Attending Shillington College i had the opportunity to practically apply this knowledge into actual designs and be able to understand the way the industry works, working under pressure and strict deadlines and managing time in order to achieve the best design within the given deadlines.

I am passionate with design in all its aspects and I continuously push myself to overcome every new design challenge, achieving perfection through attention to detail and, most importantly, being open to positive, as well as negative feedback on my work. Having trained in both Fine Art and Graphic Design I believe I can offer unique and creative solutions to any design need. In light of my career aspirations, I have worked diligently to supplement my education with hands-on experience in competitive environments, equipping me with a wide range of professional, as well as communication skills.

For the past 4 months I had the chance to work closely as a freelance designer with Shine Communications, one of the top Public Relations agonies in the UK, designing various promotional activities of the company. Alongside day to day projects I managed to design a 100-page book for Shine Communications, a project that required very good organizational and time-managing skills.
