The creative director at PaperhatFTP asked me to come up with a new promotional piece to showcase their Retouching portfolio, he wanted it to be interesting and talking point to get us noticed. I went away and came up with the idea of the Retouchers releasing an LP album of their work, using a scodix printing technique on the cover to achieve that vinyl look. The cover actually scratches to make the familiar noise, and when I packaged it in a plain 12" sleeve it really looks the part.
