ABOUT
Chile has become the largest producer of plastic waste in South America. 990,000 tones of plastic are consumed annually, and only 8% is recycled. All of Chile's ecosystems are now showing the effects of plastic pollution.
We chose five iconic landscapes of Chile to reflect the damage that this crisis is causing. Each detail was meticulously analysed and crafted to create a portfolio of diverse aerial portraits of Chile's nature, made with plastic waste.
These locations are much more than beautiful places. They belong to Chile's cultural and natural heritage, creating a powerful connection between these treasures and this unprecedented crisis.
