Spent an early Sunday morning learning how to compose in Steve Reich’s style from scratch. Layering guitars, marimbas, and piano. A simpler approach where I stuck to 3 chords instead of the 12 or so Steve Reich might pick. I stuck within my capabilities!

I Created this visual dimension by taking parts of earlier works and reimagining them. These shapes hold the DNA of my first film, Blythian Memes, parts were taken from that film reimagined and reshaped in four films between this one and that one.

The music iand video is an experiment, a deep dive into understanding minimalist composition and phasing.
