I'm very proud to have been chosen as graphic designer of Decathlon UK's first printed product catalogue.
Working in-house and closely with the catalogue manager, I produced a 32-page document within the tight deadline of seven days. Having worked for Decathlon before, I already knew the company's design guidelines and set up page templates within a matter of hours. Following the (at times sketchy) page descriptions, the catalogue grew quickly thanks to the great team dynamics I contributed to. Always keeping an eye on the tight deadline and budget, the production process improved with every day and left enough space for several amendment and proof-reading stages.
The final product is a print catalogue to be proud of. Apart from the slick, on-brand design and high quality file production as well as print consultation, I contributed my own proof-reading and editing skills by making numerous suggestions to improve the text that had been translated from French to English.
I enjoy working with Decathlon immensely. Teamworking is one of their big values which takes the sting out of a tight deadlines and busy work schedules. I'm glad I keep being asked back to help them out in busy times.
