The design of the facade reflects the temporary nature of the Design Junction exhibition, combining the natural and artificial. A grid system is wrapped around an existing screen of trees and bushes. The grid system holds a pixelated array of panels, which are orientated to reflect or provide glimpses of the foliage beyond, merging the two entities. The arrangement of the pixels directs visitors to the entrances and act as way finding signage. Reflective elements multiply the structural presence of the facade and the natural elements, allowing visitors to pass through the shrouded foliage as they enter the exhibition.
