designjunction2016 took on a brand new location, built giant Monopoly houses, broke an installation record, hosted the world's biggest design party and welcomed 27,000 visitors to the show.

It was our most exciting and ambitious edition to date, and we would like to sincerely thank all our exhibitors, sponsors, partners and visitors for making this year such a success. Read on to see just some of the highlights:

The entrance to Cubitt House was one of the most talked about features of the show. Designed by Satellite Architects and sponsored by Icons of Denmark, the 70 metre long by 7.5 metre high super-structure was the largest installation of GRID in the world. Watch the build-up time lapse here. 

designjunction2016 welcomed more than 100 of the very best cutting-edge design brands to Cubitt House including Ton, String, Isokon Plus and VG+P.

Design-savvy shoppers browsed from 70 tempting pop-ups at The Canopy. Highlights included Future & Found, One We Made Earlier and Cherchbi.

From Dornbracht's fountain installation complete with a string quartet to design clinics by Houzz, Granary Square played home to a vibrant mix of live activity.

The Crossing presented six leading brands from mixed disciplines including textiles by Kirkby Design, lighting by Tala and flooring by Dinesen.

A giant Twitter machine asked visitors what they were #inspiredby, whilst Architects Journal questioned what makes the perfect city through #Notopia.

The secret garden cafe was a peaceful oasis decorated with bloomon flowers, whilst Isokon's cafe and ELLC's bar allowed visitors to network and socialise.

Spearheaded by Jim Rokos, Dyslexic Design celebrated the work of 16 dyslexic designers through a stunning exhibition, brought to life by Ab Rogers.
