Create&Make is a new facility designed by Winter & Company to nurture the creativity involved when researching and developing paper products. It is a centre of excellence dedicated to furthering knowledge - a space for hosting workshops, seminars and training classes.

Winter & Company needed a new name, a brand platform and a visual identity that clearly expressed how this facility would support designers, specifiers and their clients. We drew inspiration from the notion that this was a place where ‘ideas where made’. We named the facility Create&Make - adopting the company’s ampersand as a key component in developing a contemporary identity with a strong visual expression. A new logo, colour palette, image library and book, provided Winter & Company with a visual toolkit that has since been applied across all brand touch points.

The book features a host of beautifully shot images which we describe as Paperscapes. The images are printed entirely in Stochastic, using a randomised 20 micron dot. The dust-jacket was printed in Pantone Metallic 8402 and stamped in Foilco Blue 6716 on Wibalin® Buckram Silver Grey 115gsm. The cover was printed in four colour process and Pantone Metallic 8402 on Wibalin® Board Silver Grey 320gsm. The text is printed in four colour process on Envira Bright White 120gsm. The first French fold tip-in page is hot foil stamped in Foilco Blue 6716 on Wibalin® Natural Silver Grey 120gsm. All subsequent tip-in pages are litho printed in four colour process on Wibalin® in colours, Fine Linen Silver Grey 115gsm, Buckram Fawn 115gsm, Natural Lilac 120gsm, and Natural Petal 120gsm.
