The Ritual is a dual-focused beauty shoot created for Dermalogica, exploring the seamless transition between professional facials and at-home skincare. Blending high-end still life with expressive model imagery, the project celebrates skincare as both routine and self-care ritual—accessible, effective, and inclusive.

On the still life side, Dermalogica’s core at-home products are displayed on a chrome tray—evoking the clean, clinical order of a treatment room, designed to echo a salon experience within your own space. Additional product shots include the specialised tools used by professionals, bridging the brand’s salon heritage with the personal skincare journey.

The model photography expands the narrative—featuring a diverse cast in terms of skin tone and gender to reflect Dermalogica’s universal appeal. Moments include exfoliators mid-application, facial massage techniques captured in motion, tools held gently against clean skin, and the quiet intimacy of a salon scene: a model reclined in treatment, a branded headband in place, as a therapist’s hand approaches with a bowl and brush.
