Zaatar is a traditional Middle-Eastern spice made of thyme, sumac, sesame and a pinch of salt.
It’s often eaten with bread dipped in oil or spread onto flatbread dough before it’s baked into manoushe.
The Mix Pot has blended four new varieties that are equally at home in western kitchens. With the addition of ingredients including pistachio, chillies, dried apricots and many others, they complement a wide range of dishes from pizzas and roasts to simple cheesy snacks and even oriental cuisine.
My task was to think of product names that would introduce the idea of zaatar to a new audience.
