When Milk & Bone approached me to direct a video for Abyss, I knew we had the opportunity to do something special. As the song was made for the soundtrack for a video game (Lost Records: Bloom and Rage), I knew I wanted to write a concept that would honour the world of the game and bring the dark cinematic tone of the song to life. Treating the music as a score for my own dramatic scene rather than just creating aesthetic visuals allowed us to push the boundary of what a music video is and bring another dimension to the project.
