ITAKA is the only Polish NGO which looks for missing persons. Last year alone more than 20 000 people have been reported as missing.

THE RESULTS
With a campaign budget of only 250 EUR:
- 10 000 waiting signs used
- 100 local and national publications
- Number of visitors on Itaka's website more than doubled
- 50 000 EUR in earned media

THE CHALLENGE
Apart from searching, Itaka offers counselling and support to the families of the missing.
The objective was to increase awareness about Itaka’s mission and to give hope to thousands of people waiting for their close ones that someone is looking for them.

THE SOLUTION
In arrivals’ halls of Poland’s largest airports we introduced waiting signs which featured details of missing persons from Itaka’s database and information about Itaka.
The waiting signs were available during summer and winter holidays – the busiest time on Polish airport.
