The Durban Adaptation Charter was the key output of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s COP17/CMP7 and was signed by 107 mayors and elected officials representing over 950 local governments globally. We are proud to have worked with eThekwini Municipality to develop this identity which represents this unified and unprecedented commitment from 27 countries to strengthen local resilience to climate change.
