The Site & Brand Sweaty Betty is a pioneer in women’s activewear, known for blending high-performance technical fabrics with style. For their presence in the iconic Battersea Power Station, the brand required an environment that mirrored their "minimalist yet energetic" aesthetic. The industrial-chic backdrop of the Power Station provided a unique canvas that demanded a lighting solution both sympathetic to the heritage architecture and aligned with modern retail trends.
The Brief & Solution Our task was to translate Sweaty Betty’s clean, minimal interior design into a functional and inviting lighting concept. We focused on a sleek integration of luminaires that com-plemented the store's open-plan layout and contemporary finishes.
Beyond the design phase, we provided full AutoCAD documentation and rigorous lighting calcula-tions to ensure the space met both aesthetic and energy-efficiency standards. A critical element of this project was our hands-on commissioning of the lighting. By personally aiming and adjusting the fixtures on-site, we ensured that every product—from technical leggings to high-impact accesso-ries—was illuminated exactly as intended, eliminating shadows and highlighting textures to drive customer engagement.
