Motion graphics help to visualise the inner workings of technology and broadcast in an abstract form.

In 2013 one of the largest broadcast solutions companies rebranded as ‘Piksel’. Dazzle Ship were given free reign and a great deal of trust to produce something based on a script they had developed internally that subverts Gill Scott Herons message in the famous lyrics of the ‘The Revolution Will Not Be Televised’.
We worked to visualise the inner workings of technology and broadcast in an abstract graphical form. For this we played around with a lot of particle simulations to communicate the idea of data flowing at at its native level.
We used the opportunity to explore a poetic delivery, the VO had a slow rolling voice and the motion graphics were interspersed with video to illustrate the story. The music had a bassy slow beat that helped underline the flow of delivery.
