I am an American citizen who has moved to the UK to join my British husband and I have received full status to work within the UK. Six months ago, I started my own freelance business working under Banafshe Schippel, alongside being commissioned to design for various companies. I have been incredibly successful in selling my work worldwide to industry leading companies, as my goal was to combine my past design experience and new techniques I have created myself, which were inspired by a Digital Design Course I completed at the University of Arts London. Prior to moving to the UK, I lived in New York City for 6 years and worked at P/Kaufmann Inc. as a Print Designer. Being a part of their 7-person design team, I helped create and develop artwork for printed fabrics under top brand names such as Waverly, Colonial Williamsburg, HGTV Home, IMAN Home and Tommy Bahama.
