About me

Dear Sir/Madame

My name is Davina and I have just graduated from London Metropolitan University, where I gained a 2:1 BA (Hons) Design degree.

I have previously worked with a brand and product consultancy Echo Brand Design where I applied my visualisation and communication skills. Here I widened my experiences and exposure to the industry. I learnt the design process with design professionals and produced a wide range of work for current briefs. My time spent here was very valuable, and I learnt a lot about how designer's function as a team.

The main focus of my course was branding and graphic design. I was able to work on many live projects were I learned key skills in communication, organisation and teamwork. Our work produced for live clients was recognised by Design Week, and published in an article highlighting the value of live projects for design students. I also took part in last summers D&AD show where I displayed my best pieces of work.

My focus is with brands and developing identities through different medias. Ultimately I enjoy branding within the fashion industry. My aim is to apply my graphic design skills to all forms of communication, for example POS, brochures, packaging and store graphics. My interest in this area stems from my previous employments in retail, and how store visuals communicate the brand to consumers through different medias. From my experiences I am confident I can contribute fresh and original ideas to the company.
