There are two types of mechanics in the world. The trustworthy ones. And the ones who rip you off, charging for expensive parts and labour when they didn’t do a thing. These guys make it difficult for honest operators like NRMA MotorServe to attract new customers. So we set out to prove that NRMA MotorServe is different. We figured that if we could show people what happens in our workshops, they’ll be more likely to book their car in for a service. So we took an ordinary billboard and turned it into a pop-up auto-mechanic. Our lovely promo girls were sent out to entice drivers off the road for a free car service on our billboard. Then our NRMA mechanics did the rest, changing oil, replacing brake fluid, performing safety checks and even installing baby seats for several worried Mums…all within full view of the public. The result was an astounding success. And we proved that unlike some mechanics, NRMA MotorServe has nothing to hide.
