Series of four large scale charcoal drawings produced for an exhibit at Beswick Library outside sports city in Manchester. The drawings are a narrative approach to the brief and involved taking a publication from the archives that was written by one of the miners who worked at the pit called Henry Bairsto, and interpreting the stories and memories that are chronicled in the writing.
