Poster for Harry Nilsson.

Nilsson wrote and recorded a lot of songs but never toured, the images of a paper edge and the vinyl are meant to reflect that. Terry Gilliam said that Nilsson had something heavenly but with a dirt and darkness to him so the imagery was done perfectly and then messed up.

The black one is my personal favourite but I felt that the red added a visual impact that a poster needs. The third one I tried a colour that is not linked with record labels, I wanted the vinyl pattern to influence the design and not to be a carbon copy of a record but felt the colour went too far the other way bit showed that the poster could be done in different colours if they wanted it to.
