About me
Born in Belgium and raised by the internet, I consider myself a tech-savvy pioneer with excellent working
relations in the fast-growing market of gaming and esports. I worked as a volunteer, freelancer, organizer, and employee within the international esports scene, for now, more than 10 years which grew into a vast network with several key AAA partners in-game communities, publishers, and hardware manufacturers.
My educational background is in marketing and sales which is much more than just talking about a brand, it's about telling a story to your customers that allows them to identify with your product. My expertise lies in understanding the gaming landscape and creating those compelling stories that deliver your message.
Whether the targeted audience likes throwing Angry Birds on the iPad, a late-night FIFA marathon, or destroying the enemy nexus, it gives great joy when you are able to connect with a generation that grew up with AdBlock.
It's not just with number crunching either.
I'm able to deliver comprehensive insights and strategic planning for companies of all sizes in hardware, software, and even with non-endemic markets. Throughout the years I have been fortunate to have worked at events such as BlizzCon, Gamescom, E3, MLG, Gamerforce, Firstlook, ParisGamesWeek, and other regional/international settings with companies such as SteelSeries, ASUS, Coca-Cola, MSI, ZOWIE BenQ, and Alienware. Some notable clientele in regards to esports teams where I was the primary contact and senior account manager are G2 Esports, OpTic Gaming, Astralis/RFRSH, FACE IT, Team MVP, Method, Rogue, Team MisFits, and TeamOG. The responsibilities have varied depending on the organization and sector but often involved understanding the value of a campaign, executing and reporting on the ROI and KPI with measurable statistics and comparable resources.
