David's work

About David

For the last year I have been working part-time as a freelance designer and have completed a number of projects for a design company who design furniture for an international manufacturer. They utilised my visualisation skills, as well as my ability to create models ready for rapid prototyping. Due to this interest I set up pages to promote myself (MySpace, facebook, etc) and have since been involved in a number of branding projects. I do this in my free time. As of late I have ventured into graphic design, using my skills to create graphics for t-shirts, advertisements and personal ventures. This is now one of my main interests. I got involved in T-Shirt design as I wanted to increase my knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, and therefore as I created graphics using both Illustrator and Photoshop, I learnt about how to utilise all the programs functions. With this my graphics my skills increased and I have become more comfortable using the software. At present I am in the process of designing and launching a website (*). Most of my work useâ€(TM)s my 3D visualisation or Adobe skills, examples of these can be found at *, I give 110% all the time so that this is possible as failing is not an option to me. I know that I can be a success within this industry if I am given the chance. It gives me a sense of achievement to have gained customers or made people happy with a product, again this is something that I have picked up from retail. Customer satisfaction and producing something unique gives me that sense of achievement which I crave.I am extremely ambitious, and as I have stated previously I will make a success of myself in this industry even if I have to start at the very bottom, on a minimal, or no wage, and work my way up, I am prepared to do so because I know it is a job which I would not only enjoy but one which would allow me to fulfil the potential I know I have and make use of the abilities that I have learnt over the years.
