ABOUT
The brief was to create a new brand identity and supporting marketing material for Nest Development. The company creates small housing developments generally incorporating existing barns or houses into their new developments to help blend into environment. They didn’t want to come across as being corporate, so they required a brand identity that is friendly, premium and reflected their sustainability message.
The logo was created to be clean and neat but also fun and slightly rough around the edges. The imagery is very important. To keep the brand detached from the large nationwide housing developers we choose to feature a lot of close up shots and bespoke details of each property, always with stylish lifestyle items in shot. I have designed the website, postcards, press ads, large OOH signage and investment proposal documents. My work is ongoing with Nest Development.
Nest Development are a really good fit for my design style. We have a great working relation and the brand is evolving with each new development. As each development has it’s own personality so a bespoke look and feel is created, but always in keeping the overall brand ethos. A new colour maybe added, a signature graphic devise or illustration. Nest Development has gone from strength to strength and has gained many architectural awards over the years since we started working together.
