About me

8+ years as a journalist, analyst and manager with a track record in news reporting, pricing and analysis of global oil, energy and agriculture markets.

I enjoy getting my teeth stuck into complex source material — whether that's big data sets, lengthy legal judgments, or opaque and incomplete market information — and producing content that's accessible, compelling, engaging and informative. As well as writing in a journalistic style, I can draft technical copy and I'm social media savvy.
Spearheading high-profile changes to European jet fuel benchmarks was a highlight of my work at S&P Global Platts. I'm proud to have been a thought leader in price benchmarking during a period of intense scrutiny and new regulation. I was also on the launch committee for S&P Global's LGBTQ employee network in its London office.

I enjoy the camaraderie and creativity of teamwork. I can knuckle down to complete my own tasks to deadline and in high-pressure situations. I'm able to cultivate relationships with senior market participants, as well as across internal departments.

My downtime consists of listening to podcasts on US politics and watching re-runs of The West Wing. I'm honing my photography skills via a part-time course.
