About me

Having worked for Last Word on Rugby and Last Word on Sport as a whole over the last 18 months I have built up a lot of experience in producing creative and varied content for a range of purposes. This has included a number of different projects including covering live events as well as creating historical and analysis pieces giving me a wide range of experiences and skills with regards to content creation. I have also taken on editorial responsibilities which have given me greater experience and skills in content creation. As a site, we have built various social media accounts from the ground up using various strategies to engage with a variety of different audiences but in particular younger demographics. This experience has allowed me to become comfortable and proficient in creating and editing content for various purposes so I believe that it would an area that I would excel in this role.

Whilst working as a commentator for Tribe Sports App I have had extensive experience creating content to tight deadlines under time pressure. This type of work can be a heavily stressful and pressurised environment owing to the time pressure that is often present in these situations. However, having had significant experience in this role I believe that it is an area that I now find fulfilling and can be successful in. I have also undertaken very similar work for Android Headlines. Where I have had to create written content from briefs under pressure which is accurate and informative. I believe that this range of experience creating varied content makes me an ideal candidate for this role.

I believe that I have extremely strong written and oral communication skills that would be vital in this role. In my History degree, I have had to develop and refine an obsession with perfection when it comes to written communication meaning that I am well-equipped in this area. I also believe that the varied roles that I have taken in writing and editing position have given me he ability to turn myself to any role. I hope that is varied experience will also allow me to bring a range of skills to this role and be successful in it. Overall juggling these various tasks and responsibilities I have been able to demonstrate proficient time management and organisational skills which I believe are important in this role.
