Please find attached my CV in response to the Copywriter role advertised through Yellow Cat Recruitment. As a Bournemouth University graduate with over 5 years experience in various roles in media - including copywriting - I believe this role is perfectly suited to my creative skill set.

During my time at university I embarked on a work placement writing copy at a Digital Marketing Agency. After my placement was finished I was approached by the Managing Director to see if I was able to continue writing for them on paid commission, due to my high level of accuracy and creativity. I can provide examples of this work upon request.

I then spent a year in Canada working for two commercial radio stations. Amongst other duties I was required to update online and social media content that appealed to the respective target audience, and was also granted a weekend evening presenter slot delivering light-hearted chatter and promotional announcements in between songs.

I have since been working at the BBC and am now looking to further my creative career, and the opportunity to do so through social media and professional writing is one I cannot pass up.
