About me

I am an Illustrator and Graphic Designer currently working freelance for the leisure and culture industries. My practice is one of experiment and exploration, which draws heavily upon the history of avant garde visual communication. As is the case for many designers, I began working as a freelancer by designing fliers for music events. Over the past few years I've designed and illustrated for promoters, record stores and record labels, film events, festivals, Artists, Filmmakers and galleries. I've also designed DVD interfaces, built websites, exhibited my artwork and curated exhibitions. My company, Cyrk, was founded in February 2005 along side 3 experimental musicians. As well as being a showcase for our skills, it is also acts as an identity under which we have been promoting experimental music events in Birmingham, London and Edinburgh featuring performances by some of the worlds leading experimental musicians.
