Whilst the production team was in the Caribbean filming, I was tasked with creating the launch promos and the Title Sequence. We were literally working in tandem, working with a time difference, bad wi-fi, and sporadic weather.
With dailies coming in, it soon became apparent that we needed some specifics, cutaways to help with editing, but also for branding. So I asked the team to film anything to hand, but specific to the Caribbean. And they delivered some lovely rushes, fruits, veggies, and spices drifting in and out of focus on white.
And so was born, through my love for overlay experimentation, this sequence. Highlighting the simplicity of Caribbean food and life.
