Chivas Regal wanted to find a creative way to integrate their new ‘Success Is A Blend’ brand campaign, with their sponsorship of Manchester United Football Club. We came up with the content platform “What Is Success?” Everybody has their own interpretation of success and with a club as accomplished as United, there have been thousands of people that have experienced their own interpretation of success via the Club, over the years. Specifically we identified 6 key virtues, each to be used as episodic focuses, that were mutual characteristics of both the Club and Chivas. As with all partnerships, the contractual access to player’s time was minimal, so we wanted to create a platform that could integrate Club legends, support staff and fans- after all a Football Club is only as successful as the team behind it. The platform allowed the versatility to have episodes contextual to moments in the season, celebrate the 20th anniversary of the club winning the ‘99 Treble and the launch of a new limited edition product, giving a year’s worth of content to work online across global markets. 6 Hero episodes plus Halo and Hygiene content, created over 4 shoot days to maximise ROI on contractual assets and the campaign budget.
