ABOUT

Background
In 2023, I was commissioned to build the brand identity for Neugen Medical Inc., a newly established healthcare recruitment agency specializing in connecting skilled nurses with hospitals, clinics, and care facilities across multiple sectors. This was a new brand build, from strategy to execution, including identity, brand guidelines, voice, digital presence & website

Challenges
The challenge was to create an identity that felt trustworthy, professional, and approachable, differentiating Neugen from generic staffing brands. It needed to balance corporate credibility with a human touch, reflecting the company’s dual role: caring for healthcare professionals while supporting institutions in need of talent.

Design Approach
The client wanted a clean, simple mark. Still, the complete logo should differ from the traditional logo, so the logo mark was designed to reflect connection and care, combining clarity with modern simplicity. Supporting typography and a carefully chosen colour system reinforces professionalism while remaining warm and inviting. Beyond visuals, I developed a brand positioning and voice that communicates empathy, reliability, and forward-thinking recruitment expertise.

Design Process
Research & Discovery - Studied the healthcare recruitment landscape and audience needs.
Concept Development - Explored design directions that balance professionalism with warmth.
Feedback & Refinement - Refined the chosen concept into a distinctive, versatile identity.
Brand Systemisation - Delivered full brand guidelines, including logo, typography, colour, and voice.
Implementation - Rolled out across print and digital, including website design.

Outcome
The final brand was adopted and launched successfully, serving as the foundation of Neugen’s communications. With the brand system in place, I was further commissioned to design the company’s corporate website, ensuring consistency across print, digital, and recruitment platforms.
