About me

Writer, Content Creator and Marketer.

I've always been fascinated by the written word and how to share it with the people who will appreciate it the most. That began with a junior role at one of the UK's largest magazine publishers, Emap, working on Motor Cycle News, and mainly online on the world's largest motorcycling website. After several years, including running the digital team and freelancing for various other titles, I moved into marketing, first as Social Media Manager across the Bauer Media portfolio, and then as Digital Marketing Manager for Absolute Radio.

Since starting my own small content and marketing agency, I've worked with a huge range of clients over the last 7 years, including small businesses and solo entrepreneurs, national eCommerce and business brands, and global companies. That includes everything from baby food and wine to automotive manufacturers and B2 services. And also working for other agencies on a white label basis to raise their own profile and support their client work.

I've also founded a number of personal projects, including the Digital People in Peterborough non-profit tech meetup, and which led to the creation of the annual Peterborough Stem Festival, which is a free event for thousands of children and their families to get involved in science, technology, engineering and maths.
