ABOUT

The aim of the project was to display an appreciation of all key workers. This illustration would form part of a website where we could gather donations for a charity and be the basis of a permanent mural in town for the local key workers. The idea was to expand on the idea of NHS Heroes. I wanted to create a comic-book aesthetic, with a group hero shot, with different kinds of key-workers pushing on against a background of alarm and a continuing spread of the virus. The word in my head for describing these workers was 'fortitude'. I provided the artwork and logo designs and animations for the project.
