ABOUT

This video project was created in an attempt to raise awareness of the Bubble Foundation and visually show the donors where their donations end up. The 'Bubble Journey' accompanies a floating bubble that walks you into the hospital, It then transforms into an up close and personal interaction with the patients and the nurses to show you what every day life is like on the ward.

I had never filmed a short video like this before, or incorporated CGI into real life footage, so It was a continuous lesson throughout the project which kept me on my feet. Apparently, this was also the first time a bone marrow transplant had ever been filmed in the UK.

There was no budget given, yet the project managed to increase the charities social reach on Facebook by over 2,000% and it reached over 23,000 people in the first 2 days. It was later tweeted by ITV's Phillip Schofield.
