The image is a personal project called “The Battle of Parintins”.The idea was inspired by the folk festival that takes place annually in the Amazon - it reimagines the festival’s protagonists fighting like boxers in a 70th martial arts movie style. Initially, I sketched the composition I envisioned for this image. Then, I acquired assets using AI and assembled the composition using creative retouching techniques.
