The dictionary reimagined. Designed to help children aged 7–11 develop a true writer's intuition, it contains 4000 storytelling words curated around six common literary themes - Character, Setting, Taste & Smell, Action, Emotion, & Weather. Each word is individually illustrated using Mrs Wordsmith’s cast of animal characters, bringing the meaning of each word to life in a memorable, fun, & innovative way.

After we collected a range of ideas for each illustration, I developed & refined the concepts, sketching out rough drawings that the junior artists would ink to a final standard under my supervision. I reported to Craig Kellman, who originally created these characters.
