About me

Hello. Firstly thank you for this opportunity to show you my work and tell you a little about my background.

I am a 25 year old graphic designer living in Knowle, Solihull. With previous experience as a freelancer, I am now working for a Leamington Spa based agency, concepting ideas, designing layouts and artworking for print.

Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Quark are very familiar to me, and I also use Dreamweaver to build static websites, e-newsletters and other online content. I often provide copy writing support.

Social media is something I have, over the last 4-5 months, taken responsibility for. I now maintain three Twitter pages, a Facebook page and use LinkedIn to source beneficial contacts.

In addition to the central design work (client and in-house), I am also responsible for:

• Co-ordinating and implementing both the production and marketing schedules.

• Updating and maintaining Google AdWords and Analytics.

• Running InDesign mail merges, printing and preparing for dispatch.

• Liaising with key clients on various matters that include monthly e-newsletters, networking and website updates.

Looking forward, I would like to move into a company that can offer the possibility of growth. Whilst my present employer has provided me with excellent insight into all areas of the creative, production and marketing process, I am now seeking a less varied, more focussed role, in which I can concentrate on design and artwork.
