Mexico is the second most dangerous country to be a journalist, behind only Siria, a country currently in the midst of a war. In 2017, Mexico and Syria had the same number of journalists murdered: 12.

As a protest against these events, we created a bulletproof vest made of press releases of murdered journalists.
