I use textiles as a metaphor for the themes explored in the poetry. For example, a piece of fabric could be dyed to represent a particular emotion or experience, and then incorporated into a larger artwork that includes poetry related to that emotion or experience.The combination of poetry and textiles can create a powerful and evocative work of art that engages both the senses and the emotions of the viewer.
