About me
Cinematographer and director with more than 10 years of experience in the media field. He has a degree in Film and TV from Veritas University in Costa Rica and a Masters in Communication and Creative Industries from the University of Alicante Spain.
In his first years he worked as a camera assistant and electrician in different feature films such as El Regreso, El Compromiso and Puerto Padre.
In the following years he worked among other projects as director of photography for the documentary for Televisión Española "Las voces de Pilar Jurado" and the webseries Dele Viaje, the latter has won the award for best cinematography at the web series festival in Sao Paulo.
Daniel has directed both fiction and documentary, some of his short films have been selected in festivals such as the San Jose International Film Festival Paz con la Tierra, Shnit Shortfilm Festival and RED en Cortos (network that distributes short films in Latin America) and Allucinema fiesta As a Founding Partner of Enso Films S.A., an audiovisual production and communication company specially dedicated to the creation of content in the areas of documentary, fiction, corporate video and new formats.
He worked on the documentary short film in Virtual Reality called Díwö, which won the award for best virtual reality project at the FINNOF festival (International Festival of New Non-Fiction Narratives).
